Kathryn Finney is an illustrator and graphic artist. She loves to paint animals, subjects for children, and Iowa landscapes. Her paintings utilize large, expressive brush strokes and bold color. Her work can be seen in children’s book stores with titles like, “Far North in the Arctic” by Sasquatch Books and “I Don’t Want to Talk About It” by Magination Press. Kathryn also specializes in painting portraits of animals, especially dogs.

Kathryn has also art directed and designed national magazines such as Traditional Home, Country Home, and Renovation Style. Her work has received local and national recognition for graphic excellence in design.
