Hicks was a well-known fashion model in the 1980sand 1990s, and often appears on Tatler magazine. Hicks hosts the second season o the Bravo TV series “Top Design”, and interior design competition series. “Top Design” began airing on Bravo September 3, 2008.

Not only is Hicks a television host and a fashion model, but she is also an author, hotel owner, heir to the British throne, and the beauty-line creator of an all-natural body-and-home-fragrance line, Island Night, with Crabtree & Evelyn. But, aside from her numerous credentials, Hicks is also a parent who raises her three sons and one daughter in a “freestyle parenting” style. In an interview with Cookie, Hicks says that even though she is sleep-deprived from staying up late to watch her son Felix playing backgammon with his dad and waking up at 6:30 a.m. to spend a quiet hour with her daughter Domino, “the time I have with my children when they’re home on holiday is the perfect honeymoon.”
